The school wishes to share its collegiate pride and success with the community by offering a range of scholarships which support its educational philosophy that all students can learn, progress and excel in a particular field of endeavour. Scholarships are redeemable against School expenses including school fees and text books.
The scholarship process will begin in August once your child’s enrolment has been confirmed. From there, students will complete an application and interview to apply for their chosen scholarship. Students are welcome to apply for more than one scholarship.
Continuing Oberon’s rich tradition of academic excellence
this scholarship will be awarded to a student who demonstrates outstanding achievement in one or more of English, Mathematics or Science. Students will need to demonstrate a thirst for knowledge and a passion for learning.

Student leadership is the fundamental core of any successful school. Oberon prides itself on producing the leaders of tomorrow. This scholarship will be awarded to a student who displays exemplary leadership skills including communication, initiative, motivation and a passion to guide and direct peers.

Oberon is proud of the citizens it creates. The Community (Good Citizenship) scholarship is awarded to a young citizen who has made a significant contribution in their community be it school or other. The applicant needs to demonstrate a strong social conscience and an outstanding attitude towards their schoolwork.

With a history of producing exceptional sportspeople such as Patrick Dangerfield and Travis Boak, the Sporting Excellence scholarship will be awarded to a student displaying high promise in their chosen sporting area. Along with personal sporting achievements the applicant must display exemplary sportsmanship.

Oberon values creativity in all its forms, and encourages students to express their individuality. This scholarship will be awarded to a student who has outstanding experience and skills in either performing or visual arts. Enthusiasm and participation, as well as talent will be highly regarded.
